I Repeat: DON'T BE BORING
Sometimes that means putting out content that you need to apologize for afterwards. But if you're going to do extraordinary work, you need to go above and beyond what's expected from a marketer.
The Biggest Mistake Devin Sees B2B Content Teams Make
The biggest mistake is that they never write content in a human tone (he calls it the B2B Exclamation Point).

Write content that's by people who just happen to work at a company. People have a much easier time getting to know, like, and trust a person than a corporation.
Is It Too Late For My Company To Start A Podcast?
Nope.
While there might be a million podcasts, there likely aren't very many that are made specifically for your target customer persona. It's not too crowded yet. Serve them and them alone.
Devin's 3-Part Content Formula
Your content should have at least 2 of these components:
- Insightful - provide an insight that your audience could not get anywhere else
- Relevant - help people solve problems they're currently having
- Immediately actionable - give them what they need to go do that thing you promised
If you have at least 2 of these in everything you put out, you'll be unstoppable.
